Sunday Bowling Match between the chapters and the State! The 17th of August was the much anticipated bowling match between the chapters and State, with Chapter A coming away with the coveted Bowling trophy. This was Chapter E's first time and with our cheering section we did pretty good considering the really interesting ways in which we had to bowl. Gerald, Evelyn, Harold, Sandra, John and Peggy Osse cheered Rick, Faye, Billy and I on as we attempted to bowl in some mighty strange positions! A Rally of Mythological Proportions!!! 6/12-6/14
The Wilde’s, Reece’s, Davis’, Peoples, Art and Lori Nyman all gathered in Athens for a weekend of fun, games and a little chariot racing. Thursday night was the dance; Friday was the awesome talent show, where we all got streaked! Hiawassee and Warner Robins when all out in the talent show and Athens used audience members (including wild Bill) in his skit and you just had to be there to witness Billy’s head bobbing and all us in the audience anticipating his teeth falling out! Rick and Faye lead the train dance as well as the YMCA dance where once again Billy showed us more than we cared to see along side John from Macon . We missed all those who could not make it and I just have to mention, the newsletter took 1st place this year!!!! I am a little excited, can you tell? Rick, Faye, Brenda and Michael Played the chapter games and took 1st place also. When you view the rest of the rally pictures notice how short Kelly’s skirt is and Laura Sue let him wear it!
Our thanks to Harold and Rick for a great looking Chariot! Even though we did not win we all had a great time racing and watching. |

Crickets III By Robin Peoples Saturday, 4/13 Rick and Faye officially opened the doors of Crickets III for a few members who were not able to attend one of the previous Cricket dinners. With the help of Art, Lori, John & Peg Wilde’s, The Osse’s and The Reece Sons, Jamie and the Davis’ it was a perfect evening. Watching everyone try and eat without Silverware or on occasion 3 drinks with one course is hysterical. The evening began with Janine Davis (Jimmy) escorting each of the men to their assigned tables and Rick and Faye’s Sons seated the ladies. We had to choose 21 items, 7 each course with descriptions few understood. I was laughing most of the night watching the ingenious ways people will find to eat without the proper utensils. We were entertained between each course with games and a great poem read by John Osse. After being served all 3 courses, we were allowed to go to the kitchen and serve ourselves if we were still hungry. I know everyone had a super time and we thank the entire Cricket’s staff who made this night so special for us all |
