NOTHING . . . ZERO . . . NIL . . . ZILCH . . . NADA . . . NOT A THING . .

. . . . that is what it will COST you to renew your Rider Ed Levels!!

So, what is the catch? Well, actually, there is no catch. Your Chapter Educator has all the necessary paperwork that you need to renew your Rider Ed Level. “Well, I haven’t renewed in 3 years (or any number of years) so it is going to cost me for those years, so that will be a problem, right?” Nope! No problem. No cost.

So, how does this work, you ask? National Rider Education no longer requires yearly renewal fees for Level 2, 3 or 4. So, all you have to do is make sure all of your qualifications are current and fill out the new “Level Update Form”. Give it to your Chapter Educator, who in turn, will forward it to the District Educator.

What are the qualifications needed? There are explained on the Update Form, but briefly, Riders (Drivers) have the Motorcycle endorsement on their Drivers License, have completed an Approved Riding Course within the last 3 years, have a current CPR or First Aid Course (for Level 3) and both a current CPR and First Aid Course for Level 4. Co-Riders must have an Approved Rider Course (2 Up ERC for example) or a Co-Rider Seminar with in the last three years, and have a current CPR or First Aid Course (for Level 3) and both a current CPR and First Aid Course for Level 4. And you do not have to wait until the first of the year to renew. As soon as you get current on all your qualifications, send in your Renewal Update Forms.

If you wish Renewal pins/bars, those may be purchased for $2.00 each.

So, you went to all the trouble to get to your current Rider Ed Level in the first place, why not show your continued commitment to safety and take the steps necessary to renew those commitments and possibly move up to the next Level? Get with your Chapter Educator and lets’ get it done!!

And as always, always be watchful for the unwatchful . . . .
