McDonough Sonic Ride

Billy and Robin left BP North alone (no other riders showed up) and headed to McDonalds in Griffin where they joined up with Harold, Sandra, Jim and Terri Totten. We then headed to Sonic where we joined John, Peg, Art, Laurie, Rick, Faye and their nieces for dinner and then Mr. John paid for all of our Ice Cream with the 50/50 winnings from the Sept. meeting he won. We really appreciate the Ice cream and it only confirmed what we already knew that John and Peg are the backbone and sweetest members of the chapter!!

John and Peg invited us all back to their new home afterward and let me tell you, they have the most beautiful courtyard I have ever seen: it is a beautiful stone paved walkway leading to a patio and waterfall oasis. They promised us a cookout next summer and I plan to hold them to it. Their back sunroom overlooks the 19^th hole and I suspect they will be very happy there for many years to come. We missed those who could not make it and remember next month is the last Sonic ride in Barnesville. We hope you can make plans to attend.
