July
was the month to visit the Sonic Restaurant in Griffin. Despite the
hot temperatures, 21 members and visitors braved the weather and enjoyed a
casual meal and fellowship. One of the biggest surprises was to find
Ross Reeves gliding in on his beautifully painted Harley.
There
were rumors that Boss Hogg and LuLu were going to show up and dine with
us. But, you can bet, everyone who did show up had a lot to talk
about. Everything from that dirty, 4-lettered
word..."work" to safety chrome, to the upcoming events were
discussed.
One
other commonality that was seen this evening was everyone was either eating,
drinking refreshing cool drinks, or doing both. The folks at Sonic
weren't sure what hit them but they made sure everyone received what they
ordered. Well, Jimmy and Brenda may have had some trouble but
that was soon forgotten.
We urge everyone to join us and enjoy the laughter and joking. An evening with this group will make you forget about your daily troubles. And, if the planets are in alignment, a full moon is in store and you check your tarot cards, you may even have an opportunity learn something. But, we can't guarantee it will be completely useful.
