From E to H, Fun Was To Be Had

Several members from the Chapter E attended Chapter H's fun day on May 20.  Jimmy, Brenda, John, Sherry, Dennis, Kim, Brittany, Kelly, Laura Sue, Billy and Robin all met at BP South and had a nice ride to Albany.

Chapter H had a good turnout for their event and with the warm day, the cool accommodations were a welcome relief.  Dennis, Kim and Brittany dove right in and played the games and became a close part of the group.  After having a lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, dessert and drinks, it was getting close to the time for the prizes from the games to be drawn.  Chapter A-2, Dublin, walked away with the majority of the goods but some of them came back with Jimmy and Brenda.  Dennis won a glass figurine.  Did he let Kim or Brittany take it, or did he just keep it for his own collection?

The only down side to the day was during the ride home.  In Smithville, Georgia, John and Sherry's bike had problems.  Their charging system quit working and so did the bike.  With everyone at their beckon call, except Kelly and Laura Sue who had a tight schedule to catch a flight in Atlanta, they switched batteries with Billy's bike and continued on the way.  When the battery in John and Sherry's bike would go dead, they would switch it out with the charged one in Billy and Robin's bike.

All in all it was a nice ride and everything turned out just fine.
